Features:
- 3m long posts are supplied as standard. This allows for 0.9m in ground and a 2.1m clear height. Longer posts can be ordered for a greater clear height.
- Posts are 100 x 100 square for a clean uncluttered appearance and are made from 0.75BMT steel which is roll formed for a strong structure.
- Option of purchasing Galv Base Plates and attaching posts to an existing concrete surface. Please be aware the concrete MUST be in good condition.
- Ability to have clear light roofing. Unfortunately the entire roof can’t be in clear roofing as the strength is in the Purlindek roofing steel, however, one clear panel lets in a lot of light!
- Roll formed steel construction for a strong, durable and long lasting carport
- Purlindek roofing on all carports for a strong clear span design. Roofing is either Zinc or Coloursteel finish. Please be aware Coloursteel is only colour on one side – the top side, the underside is a light grey primer colour.
- Roof is constructed from 0.40BMT steel (Single Carports), Fascia’s and Gutters are made from 0.75BMT steel – this creates a strong Carport!
- Minimum 25mm slope to any corner on Single Carports. The gutters completely encircle the roof which enables the roof to be sloped in any direction!
- Constructed using Rivets for a cost effective and simple assembly
- Attractive carport with minimal framing! The strength of the carport is in the Purlindek roofing and therefore additional framing isn’t necessary. The Carport only consists of roofing iron, Fascia/gutters and posts!
- Fully engineered carport supplied with current PS1! The Streamline carports are also engineered for high wind zones and snow zones – contact us with your address and we will double check. Many Carports out there do not have engineering – buy a carport you can trust!

Standard Delivery
Steelmates will email you shortly after your order is processed to confirm your order has been placed successfully. We will then call you or send you an Email with a tracking number when your order is dispatched. The delivery is weekday service.

Kindly be advised that the delivery time for the South Island is subject to variation based on the availability of stock at either our Christchurch warehouse or Auckland warehouse. In the case of large items requiring transportation, we kindly request that you allocate an additional 2-3 working days for delivery if the parcel originates from the North Island.
Delivery FAQ
Do I need to be home for my Delivery?
Yes, all of our products require a signature as proof of delivery. If you are not happy with your delivery date then please contact before the day to make alternative arrangements.
My house has a restricted access, what do I do?
Our drivers are only contracted to provide kerbside drop offs and deliveries. They will NOT bring any of our orders through your home. A driver may offer to take an order further; for instance a back garden but this is ONLY at their own discretion. If you have any questions about access or you live in a restricted access zone please contact us prior to ordering.
My Order Has Not Been Delivered, What Should I Do?
If your order has not been delivered when expected please feel free to contact us on 09-2740618.
Please Note: Additional items such as the riverter, security locks and shelving may be delivered separately on a different day to your main product. If you have ordered multiple products in one order then you may receive multiple deliveries.
