Stronger Frame

Designed with strength and quality in mind, our sheds use top quality colorsteel. All of our sheds are fitted with a line of bracings around the height of the wall. For large sheds, there is arch support extending all the way to the ground.

2m Tall Walls

Steelmates garden shed has a minimum height of 2 meters for wall and door, which is the lowest height of the whole garden shed. There is robust headroom and allows you to move freely inside the garden shed.

Steel Thickness

The thickness of the steel on the market is generally 0.22-0.25mm, but Steelmates garden shed is 0.32mm, which is 1.4 times thicker than the average steel shed. This thickness gives Steelmates garden shed an excellent resistance to rust and corrosion, and empowers it with amazing durability whatever the weather, which can stay in great shape for many years!

Free Anchor Kits

An important step in the process of installing a garden shed is the installation of anchors, so that you don't have to worry about your shed blowing away in any kind of weather. We are one of the first companies importing garden sheds into New Zealand. Till this year, we have been distributing garden sheds over 5 years.

With these 5 years experience, we knew all the pros and cons about sheds, and thoroughly understand what New Zealanders expect from Garden Sheds.
Imported sheds are affordable, but may lack the quality to stand our brutal sun light, wind, rain and snow. Locally made sheds are strong, but costly, and difficult to put together without professionals.

FEATURES:

HIGHER GAUGE:
All major frames are double folded 0.6MM steel, 1.2mm makes our sheds the thickest and strongest.
Sheets are 0.32MM thick.

EASIER TO ASSEMBLE:
The side walls can be assembled first indoor, then brought outside to join the corners and self-standing. All the field work left are the roof panels.

COMBINATION OF SCREWS AND RIVETS:
Rivets are stronger, screws makes installation much faster. Ours combine their advantage. Screws are used to join the panels to frame. Rivets are used to join the frames, and the only movable part- the door.

(These Storage Sheds are not suitable for coastal environment. The warranty is not valid if they are within 2km of a body of salt water. )

Additional floor clamps are required for high wind zone.

Kindly be advised that the delivery time for the South Island is subject to variation based on the availability of stock at either our Christchurch warehouse or Auckland warehouse. Delivery FAQ

Do I need to be home for my Delivery?

Yes, all of our products require a signature as proof of delivery. If you are not happy with your delivery date then please contact before the day to make alternative arrangements.

My house has a restricted access, what do I do?

Our drivers are only contracted to provide kerbside drop offs and deliveries. They will NOT bring any of our orders through your home. A driver may offer to take an order further; for instance a back garden but this is ONLY at their own discretion. If you have any questions about access or you live in a restricted access zone please contact us prior to ordering.

My Order Has Not Been Delivered, What Should I Do?

If your order has not been delivered when expected please feel free to contact us on 09-2740618.

Please Note: Additional items such as the riverter, security locks and shelving may be delivered separately on a different day to your main product. If you have ordered multiple products in one order then you may receive multiple deliveries.
