Traditionally,Greenhouses always used to sit on a little brick plinth.Now however, most of the greenhouses in our range can be fitted with a metal base.This means that you can fix the greenhouse straight onto either a concrete foundation or one made of concrete slabs. Greenhouse manufacturers make various types of metal base.Using our experience of installing greenhouses we decided to offer our customers a base design that incorporates all the best features of these bases but which is simple to install and much stronger in order to achieve an improved life-span.

Standard Delivery
Steelmates will email you shortly after your order is processed to confirm your order has been placed successfully. We will then call you or send you an Email with a tracking number when your order is dispatched. The delivery is weekday service.

Kindly be advised that the delivery time for the South Island is subject to variation based on the availability of stock at either our Christchurch warehouse or Auckland warehouse. In the case of large items requiring transportation, we kindly request that you allocate an additional 2-3 working days for delivery if the parcel originates from the North Island.
Delivery FAQ
Do I need to be home for my Delivery?
Yes, all of our products require a signature as proof of delivery. If you are not happy with your delivery date then please contact before the day to make alternative arrangements.
My house has a restricted access, what do I do?
Our drivers are only contracted to provide kerbside drop offs and deliveries. They will NOT bring any of our orders through your home. A driver may offer to take an order further; for instance a back garden but this is ONLY at their own discretion. If you have any questions about access or you live in a restricted access zone please contact us prior to ordering.
My Order Has Not Been Delivered, What Should I Do?
If your order has not been delivered when expected please feel free to contact us on 09-2740618.
Please Note: Additional items such as the riverter, security locks and shelving may be delivered separately on a different day to your main product. If you have ordered multiple products in one order then you may receive multiple deliveries.
